This was my entry for the TMUnderground ‘Without Words’ short movie contest. The theme was to produce a movie without use of spoken language. The movie I submitted is based on an old Japanese folklore that suggested in ages past and when times were hard, the old people in a village would volunteer to sacrifice their lives for the sake of the young. Usually, the oldest son would carry or escort their mother or father high into the winter mountains and leave them there to die.

Very happy to say this received first place in the TMU Without Words Contest.

TOKYO TALES #4 – The Payback

The fourth and final part of ‘The Lecher’ series. In this episode there are more shocks and surprises for Kenjiro Sato. Not only is he blackmailed by the sweet young thing he is dating, but he has a heartwarming reunion with ‘the stalker’. Can things possibly get any worse!?

TOKYO TALES #3 – The Honey Trap

Third part of the ‘Lecher’ series. In this episode, Kenjiro Sato’s luck finally seems to be changing. He gets a call from someone who claims to have found his stolen wallet and the pickpockets and stalkers that have plagued his life seem to be a thing of the past as he finds himself having a night on the town with a beautiful young woman. Is all this too good to be true? Watch the movie and find out.

TOKYO TALES #2 – The Stalker

The sequel to ‘The Lecher’. Kenjiro Sato’s bad day seems to be getting worse. Having been beaten up by a little old lady, had his wallet stolen and spent a fruitless morning at the police station, he now finds himself being followed by the stalker from hell.

The third and final part of this story, ‘The Honeytrap’, will hopefully be published sometime in early July.

TOKYO TALES #1 – The Lecher

Welcome to Tokyo Tales.

I am still working on this blog, but it is intended to showcase my machinima movies. In particular the new series I am creating which will consist of a series of short movies made using the Sims2 game engine. The first of these – The Lecher – is made and you can find a link to a low resolution version by clicking on the picture at the top of this post. This movie took second place in the Best Film and Best Series sections of the Online Machinima Film Festival 2009
