Sing a song of suspense,
A bottle full of rye.
Four and twenty blackbirds,
Baked in a pie.
When the pie was opened,
The birds began to sing;
Wasn’t that an evil dish,
To set upon the king?
The king was in a panic now,
Shouting for his mummy;
